Genny Spann has over 20 years of experience in accounting and management. Genny joined Conseco in 2004. As CFO, Genny directs the treasury, financial and accounting systems, as well as overseeing the administrative functions of the company. Genny is very hands on working with project managers during the bidding process and while jobs are in progress. This helps to effectively use the company's resources and manage the client's capital investment. Prior to joining Conseco, Genny's background includes working with upscale multi-family housing developers, general contractors, and large specialty contractors. She has managed the accounting for development projects and construction contracts exceeding $20 million. She performed project feasibility analysis, had extensive responsibilities working with several start up companies and directing accounting and administrative staff. Genny has consulted with clients to reengineer accounting, IT and administrative functions. Genny holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Austin Peay State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. She maintains an active license.
